Inspired by discussions of the Tax & Finance Policy Committee, the Chamber introduced legislation to clarify the Quality Jobs Tax Credit. House Bill 922, sponsored by Rep. Bruce Williamson (R-Monroe), ensures that corporations creating more than 50 jobs in the state through disregarded entities are eligible to qualify for the Quality Jobs Tax Credit regardless of how their company is structured.
