Endorsement

The Georgia Chamber of Commerce announces its endorsement of Cason Hightower for State House District 18, which includes portions of Carroll and Haralson Counties. Each election cycle, the Chamber’s Political Affairs Council vets dozens of candidates for office.  After working through the endorsement process, business leaders from across the state are confident that Ms. Hightower, serving as the fourth generation to run her family’s business, will make  effective policy decisions that positively impact free enterprise and job creation throughout the state.

“After vetting the candidates running for Georgia’s 18th House District, our members believe there is a clear choice in who will champion economic development opportunities for West Georgia” said David Raynor, Georgia Chamber Senior Vice President of Public Affairs. “The Georgia Chamber is proud to endorse pro-business candidates like Cason Hightower and looks forward to working with her under the Gold Dome if elected.”

Cason Hightower added, "As a fourth-generation small business owner, I know the need for real conservative, business-minded leadership in Georgia. No matter the hurdles we are facing, I promise to go to the Gold Dome and fight for our local businesses and economy. I am thankful for the support of Chamber and its members in our district and look forward to earning their vote in the Republican primary on June 9th."

At the time of this release, Georgia’s Primary Election will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2020, which may be subject to change due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  To find out more about Cason Hightower and her campaign, please visit https://www.casonhightower.com/.  The Georgia Chamber is a nonpartisan organization that is dedicated to working with elected officials to ensure a future of economic growth for Georgia businesses, workers and families.
