Atlanta, GA – June 2, 2022 – The Georgia Chamber today announced the creation of a new affiliate partnership with the Georgia Research Alliance (GRA). This new partnership will have statewide presence and share the common goals of strengthening Georgia’s knowledge-based economy and building a stronger workforce. The two organizations will form a symbiotic relationship to increase their collective impact on Georgia’s economy, its research universities and business community.

GRA is an independent nonprofit that helps Georgia’s universities do more research and launch more companies. Founded in 1991, GRA strategically invests state dollars to recruit top scientific talent, provide high-tech tools for labs and seed and shape companies around inventions.

“We are delighted to add GRA to a select group of Georgia-based organizations that are affiliates of the Georgia Chamber,” said Chris Clark, Georgia Chamber President and CEO. “Our affiliate program provides an avenue of creativity for generating good ideas and driving new action to benefit business in our state and contribute to Georgia’s strong and sustained economic outlook.”

The Georgia Chamber of Commerce currently has thirteen strategic affiliate partnerships with organizations that share the mission of promoting a healthy business environment in Georgia.
