Early in-person voting for this year’s presidential election has officially begun in the state of Georgia. Early voting started on Monday, October 17th and comes to an end on Friday, November 4th. Research indicates, voting before the General Election is popular amongst Georgians with nearly two million people voting early in the last presidential election. Any voter registered in Georgia is eligible to participate in early voting.
All 159 counties in Georgia have at least one early voting location open with some having multiple sites available. Early voters should be aware that your regular neighborhood polling place will likely not be the location for early voting access. Anyone looking to vote early must provide one of the following:
